How Phone/E-Therapy Sessions Work Arrange a comfortable environment for yourself, free from distractions or interruptions. Call at your appointed session time to begin your session. You are responsible for any long-distance or phone fees. Generally, phone sessions are scheduled for 45 minutes. 25 minute sessions available. Please be advised that telephone counseling may not be entirely confidential if one or both parties are using a cell phone. Personal Journeys will take calls on a land-line whenever possible, and will inform you if the call must be taken on a cell phone. |
What are the benefits of phone/E-therapy/counseling sessions?
 | Convenience, no travel arrangements and saves time. This may | |
| allow for scheduling sessions around work breaks. It also alleviates travel difficulties for those who are experiencing medical/physical limitations. | ||
| Continuation of counseling services even when you are out of town. | |
| Receive counseling with Personal Journeys even if you are not in | |
| the Phoenix metro area. | ||
| Continue counseling with Personal Journeys if you have moved. | |
| High level of privacy and anonymity. You may begin sessions by | |
| phone and then transfer to face-to-face counseling either at Personal Journeys or with a counselor in your geographic area. | ||
